Location is very good, close to metro (operating all night on Sat) and free city bikes. You can park for free 2 minutes walk from the hotel during weekends. The room was bright and clean, loved the shower in the room ;) and the aircondition. Breakfast very nice and (almost) everybody were very kind.
In the morning the girl behind the reception didn't seem too happy when we wanted some extra services.. she helped as with everything but we got the "bitter" feeling after this.
This was our second stay in Hotel Fabrik. Everything was good again. Definitely first hotel choice for Wien. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. Near U-Bahn. Rest&Bar adjacent, is also very good.
Breakfast time can be extended one more hour.
the reception desk closes too early and the restaurant was only open for one night while we were there. That is bad because there really isn't anywhere else to eat around the area. There should be a mini fridge so that you can keep food in the room for when the restaurant is not open.
Calm, Large rooms and nice accomodation, factory style makes it nice as well. Good quality equipments, decoration new and well done, people very nice relaxing and pleasant. Good atmosphere, great!
We arrived at 9:40 pm and the only reception is the restaurant, situated in the opposite side of the area...which is fine because people are very nice and pleasant but it is very surprising to find a close door at the hotel side. Usually hotels have night keeper receptionists. Last but not least is that we had to order diner before 21:50. So in case you arrive later then there is no solution but take your car and drive donwtown for diner. Would appreciate diner service a bit later at night.
Helpfulness and friendliness of staff; Size and style of room; comfort of bed; breakfast!
Staff was very helpful, room clean and good breakfast.
Wifi not in room (cable can be borrowed from the reception though). Parking in yard 13E.
A great design, simple yet comfortable, very clean, great breakfast (for Mediterranean taste), friendly staff. most enjoyable stay, great V/$.
Location is not perfect for central city, but than the price reflects that.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, very near to U-Bahn, new and clean rooms. Also free wi-fi at the lobby.
Actually nothing, everything was as expected. But if you are a traveler who spends most of his/her time in the hotel and its neighborhood maybe Hotel Fabrik is not your best choice since it becomes a little bit deserted in the weekends.
The rooms are perfectly clean, furniture is new, good food for breakfast
4 of us, 2 couples in the early 50, stayed for a weekend in November. The hotel is situated in an ex fabric factory, marveously renovated and up-to-date functional. The staff is really kind, one can feel almost a family-like surrounding.
The room comfort was excellent, the look of an old factory is very appealing, good breakfast to start your wondering through Vienna, couple minutes away from two big metro lines....
Very clean, modern and comfortable rooms, nice restaurant
wi-fi in the room did not work but hotel provided an ethernet cable. Courtyard can get noisy in the evening with restaurant patrons. Although it is a 3 min walk to a subway station, I would not stay there again while traveling on business. More appropriate for a family or leisure trip.
We loved our stay at Hotel Fabrik, the room was spacious, big bathroom.. but we especially loved the bed and the cozy sheets.
The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. Rooms were very clean- sparse in a contemporary-way but comfortable. Very new hotel in a funky building with a history, nice quiet inner courtyard kept out the city noise.
Beware that the restaurant adjacent to hotel is closed Sundays, so be prepared to eat meals elsewhere. Hotel not very central to walking sites- but convenient rail pass offered at a discount to travellers within hotel, perfect. Underground rail lines are just outside hotel doors and are very easy to use-5 min to downtown and the Ring. Wireless in rooms with a laptop, but for ipods must be used in lobby, and lobby can be closed by 8 pm most nights.
good location, direct metro line to city center, clean, recently renovated hotel
spartan room (the simplest furniture, no minibar or coffee/teapot), bed linen not changed for our 7 day stay, room facing a noisy inner courtyard
